“Everyday For A Year” takes inspiration from the form of the vase. Using the essence of the shape to inspire an intimate memory from within the artist, the text- based element of the artwork focuses on the duration and collection of an emotional spill. “I cried everyday for a year, I filled this with my tears.” Painted in blue underglaze to symbolise the symptoms of sadness, this piece of pottery serves as a vessel containing the effects of turmoil.
