Nintendo Switch OLED (WHITE) (JPN)

What it is: A premium version of the Nintendo Switch hybrid console with a larger 7″ OLED screen, enhanced speakers, wider kickstand, and upgraded dock with built-in LAN support — perfect for handheld/tabletop play.

Why it’s good: The OLED screen delivers richer colours, deeper blacks, and better contrast than the original LCD, making games look more vibrant. You also get twice the storage (64 GB) and a more stable kickstand for tabletop sessions.

Limitations: Internals and performance (CPU/GPU) are the same as the standard Switch, so there’s no boost in 3D performance or resolution beyond 720p handheld / 1080p docked, and the Joy-Con drift issue isn’t fully solved.

Who it’s for: Great choice if you’re a first-time Switch buyer or play mostly in handheld/tabletop mode; less impactful if you mainly play on your TV and already own a standard Switch.
