Description

Condition & grading Raw, ungraded Japanese Ace Spec trainer card (SV8a 152/187). Card is sold loose (not in a sleeve or slab). Surface shows an intact holographic cross-hatch/pattern with strong sparkle across the art window. There is visible edge wear on the lower-right and slight whitening on a couple of corners; the back shows light border discoloration that may affect a high PSA/BGS grade. Centering is a little top-heavy toward the artwork area (see photos for exact alignment). No creases or major bends are visible in the supplied images.

Notable features This is the holographic Ace Spec trainer from the SV8a print run, card number 152/187, with the distinctive holo foil and vertical “ACE SPEC” side text. The holo pattern is a diagonal cross/hatch that catches light well and is a strong visual feature for collectors. As an Ace Spec trainer, it’s a sought-after collectible piece in Japanese sets for display and set-completion purposes.

Set, artist, and foil status Set: SV8a (card number 152/187) — Ace Spec variant as printed on the card. Foil status: holo/foil with cross-hatch pattern across the art window and a holo frame. Artist credit is printed on the card (see lower edge of the card image).

Meta/collectible value This is primarily a collectible / set-completion piece for Japanese SV8a collectors and Ace Spec enthusiasts. As an Ace Spec trainer it has visual appeal and is recognized by competitive players and collectors alike, but value is driven mostly by holo condition, centering, and surface/edge quality. In raw, ungraded condition with the minor edge and corner wear shown, it will likely be of interest to buyers seeking a display copy or someone willing to grade the card themselves.

Other observations Colors remain vibrant and the holo effect is pronounced in person. The card photos show the exact wear points and overall appearance — the holo art area is strong, while the card edges/corners would benefit from a closer inspection for anyone targeting a high graded outcome.
